SLOPE DEFLECTION TRANSFER MATRIX METHOD FOR CONTINOUS BEAMS

The Slope Deflection Method is one of the displacement-based methods developed for structural analysis. In this study, an approach proposed static analysis continuous beams. basis includes Ricatti Transform, which was used in literature to get Transfer Matrix by using Finite Element Method. Transform applied firstly, application shown theoretically, and then two numerical examples were solved show suitability presented approach. With method, number system unknowns that are solution reduced, thus saving time.
